Beloreshma
Situated on the Southeastern Peninsula of the continent, Beloreshma is a bustling trade hub. It has one of the busiest ports in all of the Empire, seeing over 100 merchant ships a day. With ships paying a combined cost of docking fees, loading and unloading fees, storage fees, tariffs, and the occasional bribe, The Port is one of the largest sources of the Empire's income.
Some estimates say that over 10k gold pieces flow through the port on any given day. Such wealth is under extremely careful watch and guard.
As this amount of gold is not only a likely target for thieves, but for dragon and their kin as well, the city of Beloreshma has one of the most advanced anti-dragon defenses on the continent. They have successfully fought off 17 dragon attacks as of the year 951.
