Districts:
Interior City
Castle District
Here at the center of the 3 walls, lies the heart of The Republic.
The Castle that once housed the royal family is now owned by the people, and serves as both home of the Senate Chambers, and home of the President.
Senators have their own homes back in their represented cities, but are provided with lodging here when called for assembly.
The Vice President lives at a manor on the capitol grounds.
This is also where one will find the Headquarters for most every government agency, and The Army of the Republic.
Very wealthy nobility and merchants also call this district home, enjoying its high-end goods and services.
Middle City
Hydra's Borough
Legend tells that the first Queen of Rekelsia slew a hydra that was decimating local villages. In the center of The High Market, a statue of a hydra stands. It is rumored that is where the body fell when defeated.
The High Market is often considered the fanciest of the markets in town, and provides high-end goods and services comparable to those offered in the Castle District, if perhaps slightly cheaper and of slightly lesser quality.
Brook Ward
A largely residential ward named for a well-renowned philanthropist who help rebuild the ward after the revolution.
Walled Market Ward
At the center of this ward lies it's namesake: The Walled Market.
The Walled Market is as it sounds, a market with walls around it. The walls now amount to little more than stacked rocks about waist high on a human, but remain after all the years.
Park Place
A residential area with one of the very few parks in the city
Jetbrook Ward
This district is know for the high-speed races that occur every weekend. Participants race each other on either mechanically or arcanely enhanced skateboards.
Court Village
This district is home to the Courthouse for the city. Not to be confused with the Supreme Court, this court handles cases for the Lusina area.
Forge District
Home to dozens of blacksmith shops, this district is constantly filled with the glow of forges, and the scent of smoke.
Armorers' District
Home to the finest armorers in the entire Republic.
Outer City
The Outer City is where you will find the lower income residents, with the southside being the poorest.
Great Crown District
It is here that the sacred tree that the royals would be coronated under was located, and named after the crowning ceremonies that would occur. This tree also served as the hanging tree for the royal family after the revolution.
Hell Hound's Bluff
Throughout the entire city's history, residents have claimed to be stalked through the streets of this district at night. They claim to have seen massive black dogs that almost seem to be made of smoke, with fiery red eyes. These claims are unsubstatiated however, as no one has ever been attacked by one, or managed to capture one. The visions only seem to appear to one person at a time as well, and there have never been multiple witnesses for the same incident.
Bluff Farthing
The Copper Market
Straddling the line between Hell Hound's Bluff and the Great Crown District, the Copper Market is a location where you can shop for a wide variety of options, with everything priced lower than a silver piece.
Torch Market District
This district is focused around, you guessed it, The Torch Market.
The Torch Market is a night-time only market, and often is more like a fair than an actual market. It is one of the go-to night-life spots in the city.
Rosecoin District
The Rosecoin District is home to "The Thorns", a gang of violent criminals. Their calling card is a custom copper coin with the image of a rose on it. The city officials have tried to rename the district many times, but the locals keep calling "The Rosecoin District" so everyone knows that danger lurks around the corner.
Arcanist's Row
While many wizards and alchemists attend college within the city, they are poor students. This is where most of these students live and, for better or worse, practice their arcane arts and abilities. The stone of the main street here is still scorched from the last major fire they had.
Rogue's District
The poorest district. The most violent district. Highest crime rates. Highest Guard presence. Most people would avoid this district entirely if it didn't border some of the few gates into the city.
Home to the Old Market and Broad Market. Their names are self-explanatory.
Market District
The commercial heart of the city. Here is where you will find merchants of all types, selling goods from all over the continent.
Outskirts
Farmer's Row
A small area with several farms living in close proximity. Once a week they hold a farmer's market, drawing thousands of visitors looking for fresh produce.
